How to use an Airsoft Revolver
Airsoft revolvers to me are the most realistic Airsoft handgun that you could ever play with. I’ve played with many handguns and the option to pop out the cylinder and load a bullet with your BB in it is be far the coolest thing to actually loading a real gun. Heck, some Airsoft revolvers are the same weight and size of there real life counter part that you can not tell the different, except for the orange safety tip that ALL airsoft gun should have! This article will briefly explain how to use an Airsoft revolver in the proper way.
First and foremost, never ever point the revolver at yourself or a person without them knowing. Airsoft guns should be treated like any other “real life” gun and has the potential to discharge at any time. When loading your revolver always have it point toward the ground. Next, you will then disarm the latch that holds the cylinder where you will load the actually bullet, with an Airsoft revolver the bullet is actually hallow wear you would insert your BB. Once the bullets are loaded (a typically airsoft revolver holds up to only 6 bullets) push back the cylinder back to it’s original position and latch it in place.
Be sure the cylinder and cylinder chamber is line up with the barrel of the revolver. All that is left now is to cock the gun by using the “hammer” to get it ready to fire, cocking the hammer is basically compressing the spring in a spring airsoft revolver or opening the valve for a gas Airsoft revolver. Once you are cock back, release the safety trigger and you are ready to fire.
Using an Airsoft revolver is simple and straight forward. There are also some cool add-on that you can add to your revolver to make it more efficient like adding a scope or a laser pointer to the handgun. Always remember that safety comes first when playing with any Airsoft gun and this includes airsoft sniper rifles, shotgun, grenade launchers and machine guns.
